2017 Update (Round 2)

So, I finally finished all my school work until January and I have some free time. For the last couple of months I was working on an essay for a politics class about human rights issues in China, considering both their traditional context and mindset and the western perspective, and I got really deep into that rabbit hole. I also played a MTG draft with a few friends a couple of days ago and it was so much fun, I ended up in 3rd place which I wasn't really expecting since I haven't really played in months. Also, since the last time I posted I had a few fun photoshoots and I visited GerĂªs, where you can find some of the most beautiful natural landscapes in Portugal, tons of waterfalls and a huge forest.

But, as I mentioned before, I was also working on a few exciting projects. The first one is an article I wrote for the 5th issue of The Juice, a zine I've been loving and collecting since the very first issue, and I was so happy to be a part of it. It was launched in September and I had the chance to write about my mental health, ranging from topics like self-harm and suicidal tendencies to relationships and first experiences. It's a very personal article and it's very intimidating to put myself out there, but hopefully it can help someone who might be struggling with similar issues or at least someone who isn't very familiar with the subject and wants to understand it a bit better. It's important to openly talk about this so we can get rid of the stigma surrounding mental disorders, so people struggling can seek help and have access to the information they need. If you're interested in buying a copy of the zine, you can do it here, and also please check out Juicy Records and all of their amazing work, and leave them a like on facebook.
The second exciting project, and that is still ongoing, is my new band, RLGNS. Me and a couple of friends have been working on this for a while now, our first songs have been available on bandcamp since October and the response has been overwhelmingly positive. We're working on some new songs and hopefully we can start playing live soon. You can check us out and like our page on facebook and listen to our first songs here:

♥ Hope you have a nice weekend, and if you're playing Animal Crossing Pocket Camp don't forget to check your missions every week on your My Nintendo account to get crafting materials and other rewards (you're welcome!)
